take excursions on the bay, rent a boat or park your boat, if you arrive by sea!

The 25 foot "unconditional
Surrender" sculpture is somewhat controversial. According to
Wikipedia Seward Johnson's spokesperson has
stated that it is based on the Jorgensen photograph titled Kissing the
War Goodbye, but a spokesperson for Life has called it a copyright infringement of the photograph by
Eisenstaedt. The posting near the statue makes no mention of any photo and is written in a way that suggests it
was pure inspiration.
